Deacon Daniel Malone Ordination

Location: Holy Rosary Cathedral

The Reverend Mister Daniel Malone was born on the first of January 1995 to Paul and Caitrin Malone and baptized at Holy Rosary Cathedral on his brother’s birthday, the 19th of February 1995. The Cathedral was his home parish where he received his sacraments and became an altar server at the age of eight. He faithfully served all through his school years at St Piux X and Dr. Martin Leboldus and even in his three years at Campion. In his years serving at the altar he was taught and guided by our good rectors: Fr. Louis Kubash, Fr. Brian Meredith and Fr. Lorne Crozon, as well as Archbishops Peter Mallon and Daniel Bohan. With the permission of Archbishop Bohan and Fr. Lorne Crozon, Daniel entered St. Philip Neri Seminary in Toronto to complete his degree in philosophy after which he has attended St Augustine Seminary, Toronto. He served his internship year very happily at St. Joseph Parish in Moose Jaw with Fr. George Thatuparampil, Fr. Cereno and Reverend Deacon Lamont Dyck.

Daniel’s ordination to the priesthood will occur on the Feast of the Sacred Heart, 7 June 2024 at Holy Rosary Cathedral.
